Damião Franco é um arquiteto sediado em Lisboa, onde desenvolve a sua actividade de forma independente e em colaboração com outros arquitetos. É mestre em Arquitetura pela FAUP – Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto, tendo frequentado a TU Delft, nos Países Baixos, ao abrigo do programa Erasmus.
Colaborou com Nuno Brandão Costa Arquitectos e gonçalves vieira_cruz, participando em projetos que vão de pequenas encomendas privadas a edifícios públicos, acompanhando as diferentes fases de projeto e obra.
Desde 2025 exerce atividade como arquiteto independente. Interessa-se particularmente pela reabilitação e transformação de edifícios existentes. Em cada projeto procura reconhecer e potenciar as qualidades espaciais do existente - seja num edifício ou num lugar - navegando entre pragmatismo e poesia.

Damião Franco is an architect based in Lisbon, where he works independently and in collaboration with other architects. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from FAUP – Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, and studied at TU Delft in the Netherlands under the Erasmus programme.
He has collaborated with Nuno Brandão Costa Arquitectos and gonçalves vieira_cruz, contributing to projects ranging from small private commissions to public buildings, across different stages of design and construction.
Since 2025 he has been practising as an independent architect. He has developed a particular interest in the renovation and transformation of existing buildings. In each project he seeks to recognise and enhance the spatial qualities of the built fabric - whether a building or a site - navigating between pragmatism and poetry.
